Good Riddance release charity EP

In a press release from Fat Wreck Chords, the label offers information on a new Good Riddance EP.

“We have some good news to share today, thanks to Good Riddance” starts the release. “When the band recorded “Thoughts And Prayers”, four songs didn’t make the album. Instead of sitting on them, Good Riddance has decided to put them to good use by donating them to help people in need during this pandemic.”

“Today, you can hear the first track, “Illusion of Control,” over at Bandcamp. You can stream, or purchase the song, with 100% of the proceeds being distributed to the World Food Programme. Each Thursday, a new song will be available, with the whole EP being available on April 16th.”

“Below, is a statement from Good Riddance along with information about the World Food Programme.”

“Like many of you, not being able to go out to shows, or get together with friends, has been a kick in the teeth for us.”

“We have discussed ways in which our band can strive to maintain a connection with our friends and fans, and to do our modest part to bring a little joy during this uncertain time. As it turns out, we have a few new, unreleased songs, and we could not think of a better time to share them than right now.”
