The Laval Rocket blood drive returns to Place Bell this November
The Laval resident Blood Drive is back for a 52nd edition. In collaboration with Héma-Québec and the Laval Rocket, the City invites female and male citizens to a major gathering filled with solidarity on Tuesday, November 4, at Place Bell.
For this important blood drive, the objective is to reach 550 donations. In a friendly and inspiring atmosphere, female and male donors will have the opportunity to meet Rocket players as well as municipal elected officials and they can take a vital action that saves lives. It is strongly recommended to reserve one’s place now, online or by telephone.

“With the Laval Rocket and Héma-Québec as linemates, we have everything we need to score goals and win for those who rely on blood donations. The Laval residents Blood Drive is an opportunity to demonstrate valuable and exceptional community involvement. To welcome donors who wish to make this vital gesture, Place Bell will be specially designed to make their visits enjoyable,” said Stéphane Boyer, Mayor of Laval.
“The organization of the Laval Rocket is proud to team up with the City and Héma-Québec once again this year. Having experienced my first Laval residents Blood Drive last season, I can say that our fans, as well as many donors, were present. Each donation is crucial, because we all know someone who, sooner or later, will need this precious gift. Come together to meet us, the team and I, at Place Bell on November 4,” said Pascal Vincent, Head Coach of the Laval Rocket.
“Héma-Québec is proud to partner with the City of Laval and the Rocket for the Laval residents Blood Drive. We invite you to reach out on November 4th and contribute to the health of the entire community. Blood is a precious resource, available to everyone at all times—and it is everyone’s responsibility to contribute. With or without an appointment, come together to save lives. Every donation counts!,” said Sylvain Lauzé, Donor Recruitment Advisor at Héma-Québec.
Let us specify that the majority of healthy adults can give blood. The population is invited to show generosity and to come together to give blood. It is possible to make an appointment online or by telephone, at 1 800 343-7264, among the time slots available between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.
