Fatality “Psychonaut” Review

Fatality
“Psychonaut”
Independent
Released : June 28, 2013

Fatality, you will get to know this band, you will definitely hear about them again.

Straight out of Toronto, a fresh thrash sound emerges from the Canadian metal scene. Packing a hell of a punch. After supporting their LP “Beers From The Grave” with an east coast Canadian tour, Fatality got to shredding in the studio. Coming out with a free EP . With singles “T.F.E.S”, “Uppercut” and “Hammerfist.”

After supporting their free EP with  North American tours, Fatality was back at work on a new album. Rreleasing “Psychonaut” June 28th, 2013. All the hard work this band put into creating their masterpiece paid off. “Psychonaut” is an album that is packed with incredibly catchy song intro’s, diabolical riffs, and unforgettable solos. I think I even heard a guitar solo battle in the song “Towards Disaster”.

Singer Spencer Levon’s maniacal sounding voice blends well with the overall vigorous sound of his guitar shredding.

Drummer Mason LeVon offers tight drum patterns that collide with a very distinct bass composition by Adam Zlotnik. I can’t forget to mention that the spontaneous solos provided by lead guitarist Eytan Gordon are wickedly gratifying. On top of the fact that this album is incredibly addictive, most songs on “Psychonaut” will play between five and a half to seven minutes long.

Fatality is definitely going to make a name for themselves with “Psychonaut” that is if they haven’t already made a name from delivering out of control live performances.

This new album can make for wild road rage driving music, it’ll make you want to head towards disaster , it can make great drunken party fun music,  it can make a great soundtrack to the story of a madman in restraints, surrounded by a white padded room, contemplating whether he is the son of God or Satan’s shepherd, either way be prepared for a thrashterpiece.
