This year, there more than three thousand people that participated in the parade itself, as the parade and festivities have slowly began to regain its pre-pandemic shape – and like last year, a little bit of rain wasn’t about to dampen the spirits of those that wanted to come out and celebrate. Early morning drizzle soaked the roads ahead of the parade – and the clouds above held off until the waning moments of the two kilometer path before opening up again.
Also in attendance, was interim Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, who took over the lead of the Liberal party from Justin Trudeau just three days ago.
