Lil’ Wayne to headline 2023 Metro Metro Festival

January 31, 2023
Montreal’s hip hop festival, Metro Metro, is bringing the fire in 2023

What! Lil’ Wayne is hitting the road this spring with a twenty-eight date North American tour dubbed the “Welcome to Tha Carter Tour” – and that includes a stop In Montreal, where he will headline the 2023 edition of the Metro Metro festival.

Yeah! Two other headliners have been announced as well, none other than Jack Harlow and Lil Baby, with a slew of other artists also confirmed, such as Bia, Coi Leray, Cordae, Destroy Lonely, Fivio Foreign, Lil Skies, Lil Tjay, Metro Boomin, Nav, Ski Mask The Slump God, Yeat, The Kid Laroi, Homixide Gang, Killy, Murda Beatz, Tiacorine, Dawamafia, Gros Big, Guessmi, Mikezup, Misha, Mr. Severe, Naomi, Sarahmee, DJ Chloe Lallouz, DJ Kleancut, DJ Marisa, DJ Niabi, DJ Quest and DJ Star Q.

OK! The third edition of Metro Metro will be a three day affair and will once again take place at Parc Olympique Esplanade, outside of Montreal’s landmark Olympic Stadium, from May 19–21.

Before he hits the streets of Montreal, Lil Wayne will have finished off his tour and should be coming to town in peek condition, ready to let loose on this fine city.

While this is sure to be one of the biggest festivals in Canada again this year, anyone that can’t make the trip to Montreal might still be able to see Lil Wayne on this tour. There is also one other Canadian date announced, which is Toronto on April 12th, 2023.
