Montreal Comiccon announces first guests for 2024 edition

March 19, 2024 – Montreal
The Montreal Comiccon announces its first guests for the 2024 edition

With Spring in the air, it is only natural that the first wave of guest announcements for this years Montreal Comiccon are announced.

Following an incredibly successful edition last summer, that saw an estimated sixty-five thousand attendees visit the Palais Des Congress in Montreal over the weekend – up three thousand from the previous year, and making it the most attended edition of the Montreal Comiccon in its thirteen year history.

It is safe to safe that expectations for the 14th edition this coming summer – are at an all-time high, and if the first wave of announced guests is any indication of what is to come, then Montreal will once more be in for a treat.

Among the first announcements are Giancarlo Esposito (Star Wars, Breaking Bad, Once Upon a Time), Vincent D’Onofrio (Marvel, Full Metal Jacket, Law & Order), Amanda Wyss (Fast Times At Ridgemont High, A Nightmare On Elm Street) and Lisa Wilcox (Star Trek: The Next Generation, A Nightmare On Elm Street)  and a man that needs no introduction (but is getting one anyway) Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street, Stranger Things).

And of course, Comiccon wouldn’t be complete without hosting a whole bunch of seminars and as such, Englund, Wilcox and Wyss will also appear on stage for a 45-minute conversation – we presume about the A Nightmare On Elm Street franchise. Defiantly something no horror fanatic will want to miss.

But wait – there’s more! Comedy misfits the Trailer Park Boys (John Paul Tremblay, Mike Smith, and Robb Wells) will add mayhem and laughter as they appear – in character!

Of course, last year the actors guild chose to join their writers and go on strike, meaning that the majority of guest speakers opted not to take part in panels – this year, however, that shouldn’t be an issue.

Tickets for the weekend are currently on sale at this location.
