Pouzza 10 postponed until 2021

Well, dang.  I mean, sure, it was all but inevitable that Pouzza 10 would join the long list of cancelled events. But there was hope, albeit slim, that life would return to normal soon. Or as close to normal as any of us could hope for.

The dream is dead. In a video posted on the festivals social media today, the plug was officially pulled. At least on the event being held this year. Hugo Mundie, festival organizer and member of The Sainte-Catherines, said the show will be postponed until 2021. And the line-up should remain almost completely intact, too. obviously some further logistics would need to be planned out.

Pouzza fest are now offering full refunds for passes, as well as deferrals to 2021’s festival. Pouzza 10 will tale place next year.

Official statement from Pouzza:

“It’s no surprise but we have to postpone the 10th anniversary of the Pouzza Fest until May 21-23 2021. We tried our best to hold on as long as we could while we hoped for a miracle, but it’s become clear that this is the right decision to make.”

“This was supposed to be our big 10th anniversary celebration and we’ve put a ton of work into the festival, so we’re obviously heartbroken we won’t be able to see you all this year. We’ve spoken to all the bands and most of them have already signed on for next year so you can rest assured we’re going to come back bigger and better than ever.”

In the meantime, stay home. Stay safe. Dig out those old records and stay positive. This COVID-19 bastard can’t control us forever. When this ends, the parties will be relentless and legendary. Way she fuckin’ goes.
