The second round of the ISU Short Track takes place in Montreal this coming weekend
The second round of the 2025 ISU Short Track World Tour takes place this coming weekend in Montreal, once again at the historic Maurice Richard arena that was built to honor Montreal Canadiens and hockey great Maurice Richard, and was used to host boxing and wrestling events for the 1976 Summer Olympic games.
The first round of the ISU Short Track World Tour also took place in Montreal, in a season shortened by the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympics set to take place in February of next year, with competitors qualifying through this very tournament series.

This international showdown feature more than two hundred of the world’s fastest short track speed skaters from over thirty countries. The stakes this season are enormous; athletes will not only battle to earn valuable points for the prestigious Crystal Globe, but also to secure their qualification for the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milano-Cortina
Following this weekends events, the series will head to Europe for two events. First, Gdańsk in Poland from November 20th to 23rd, before the final round which will take place in Dordrecht, in the Netherlands, from 27th to the 30th of November.

The second round of the SU Short Track World Tour takes place this coming weekend, October 18th and 19th, at Maurice Richard arena which is located at Olympic Park, next to the Olympic stadium.
