Redbrige Festival 2023 in images

June 10, 2023 – Redbridge Festival, Pont-Rouge, Quebec

The 3rd edition of the Redbridge festival that takes place at Parc de l’Ile Notre Dame in Pont Rouge, Quebec might well be over and done for this year, but everyone that was there left with a brain filled with memories that will last for ages.

It was a weekend filled with questionable weather and rain that eventually fell heavily, albeit briefly on Saturday but otherwise, the festival was a complete success. A sold out crowd filled up the park and everyone had come to enjoy themselves, party hard and meet new people and that was exactly how things went. On a quant little street in a small town, four thousand music lovers descended down a bank, across a foot bridge and into a clearing in the woods.

Unfortunately, Lagwagon who were scheduled to perform, had to cancel at the last minute due to a medical issue with frontman Joey Cape that will keep him off his feet for several weeks. Wasting no time, the organizers at the festival were able to book Strung Out to replace them. Strung Out already had a taste for the festival, having performed at last year’s edition. Lagwagon have said that they will be making up dates for their cancelled Canadian tour later in the year once the Caper is ready to rock n’ roll again.

Modern Free Press photographer Kieron Yates was on hand to capture all the action on stage, which we have collected up into a gallery above. Included are photographs of every artist that played this years Redbridge festival, including Pennywise, Strung Out, Good Riddance, Bad Cop / Bad Cop, Mad Caddies, Catch 22, Belvedere, Cigar, Craig’s Brother, Colorsfade, Fullcount, 30 Foot Fall, Downstater and Killing Daisies as well as crowd shots.
