Ottawa’s CityFolk festival announces 30th anniversary lineup

It’s that time of year again—the air is hot, flowers are blooming, and Ottawa’s CityFolk festival tickets are on sale now. The music festival runs from September 11 to 15 at The Great Lawn, Lansdowne Park, Ottawa. It’s hard to think about the end of summer when it’s just starting, but this is the perfect way to say goodbye to the heat and usher in autumn.

2024 marks the 30th anniversary of the festival and with that they have introduced a diverse lineup of artists from a wide range of backgrounds and genres. Headliners include The Beaches, Greta Van Fleet, Rise Against, Milky Chance, and Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit.

A full festival pass is currently just shy of $200 CAD after taxes and fees, with individual day passes ranging from $58 to $87. CityFolk also has a VIP zone for an extra fee in front of the main stage that has a private bar and washrooms. Get your tickets now – you don’t want to miss this summer closing party!

September 12 – Greta Van Fleet, Crown Lands, Fred Eaglesmith, Jacob River Milnes, The Tennessee Cree

September 13 – Rise Against, Explosions in the Sky, Cat Power sings Dylan ’66, SOEN, Kellie Loder, Cinno, Amanda Lowe Warnakulasuriya

September 14 – Milky Chance, Half Moon Run, Jamie Fine, Katie Tupper, Alanna Sterling, Almyr Jules, John Muirhead

September 15 – Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit, Karen Morris, Alejandro Escovedo, Billianne, Sonia.G
